It's been a busy couple of weeks touring, following The Light Hunters book launch event in Waterstones Nottingham last month.

It's rare for me to take time off writing these days. However, going up to Falkirk was a great reason to pause and update everyone.

It’s been a busy summer and I’ve not had a chance to sit down and write what I’ve been up to for a while.

Yesterday was the finale of Leicester’s schools reading initiative, Reading Rampage.

After coming third in 2018’s Brilliant Book Awards, more good news for “Sky Thieves.”

Today we drove to Newark where we met with the children of Magnus C of E school and Retford Oaks Academy.

Despite the #BeastFromTheEast (or #Snowmageddon),we managed to successfully navigate our way to John Port School for the Sky Thieves event.

Having recharged our batteries this weekend in Mablethorpe and at Kinder Scout, I’m ready for another activity-packed week.

Today my wife Dom and I attended the launch event for the Brilliant Book Award 2018 organised by Inspire ELS and supported by The Bookcase.
