Brilliant Book Awards 2018 launch event

Today my wife Dom and I attended the launch event for the Brilliant Book Award 2018 organised by Inspire ELS and supported by The Bookcase.

In the last couple of months I’ve been making appearances in four schools in Sutton Coldfield.

Great news for "Sky Thieves" today! The Dutch version of the book (published by Uitgeverij Unieboek) is now available in the Netherlands.

It's been a busy few weeks, with tweaking a book I've been working on, visiting schools and bookshops.

Following a couple of visits to Saint John Houghton School in Ilkeston, I was invited back as Guest of Honour.

So, after the flurry of promotional activity last week, it's back to the grindstone.

On Wednesday I was at The Kimberley School just north of Nottingham to speak to a group of 60 year 7 students.

A week or so ago I had the pleasure of joining the readers at Reddit r/books subreddit to do an 'Ask me Anything.'

Well, it's been over a week now since the book came out and there's been lots of good reviews coming in.

The lovely guys at Bell Lomax Moreton have just posted a 'Spotlight On' interview with me in advance of "Sky Thieves"'s release next week.

More great news from Oxford University Press this afternoon.

Just had an awesome email from my publisher to let me know that the first Sky Thieves book has been picked up by a publisher in Romania.

Had a great email from the guys at Oxford University Press today to let me know that the trailer for "Sky Thieves" is finished.
