In the last couple of months I’ve been making appearances in four schools in Sutton Coldfield. Facilitated by the Learning Trust for Excellence, the visits took place in Moor Hall, Coppice Primary, Four Oaks and Hollyfield schools.
The teachers and children were very welcoming and were engaged in the story of Sky Thieves. They asked lots of great questions and some children even contributed creative ideas for writing follow-ups in the Sky Thieves world. (Saves me a job!) There’s nothing more encouraging for an author than receiving feedback from teachers and parents about their children being inspired to read and wanting to write their own stories!
